How about the "language" of situations and conditions.

Neuro-linguistic? Let's extend that to "situational" linguistic? Perhaps "Cosmic" linguistic!

Except then language becomes mathematical... required for precision.

Syntax of mathematics... of number, a-la Charles Muses of "Consciousness and Reality" and "The Lion Path", "In All Her Names" which was co-edited with Joseph Campbell, and numerous science and mathematics journals.

Syntax is merely "ordering". The difference between "Joe hit the ball" and "The ball hit Joe". Mere word ordering to you, but to Joe...

When we reach a certain level of precision, 1+2 no longer equals 2+1.

We try so hard to be reflections of our world or those elements of "the world" that we admire (or envy). We take our queue as to how to feel for instance, based on what is going on around us at that moment. When in fact, the world is a reflection of us.

Esoteric investigations tell us that numbers are more than mere collections of quantities. Quantum physics and fractal (chaos) mathematics are telling us the same thing... that numbers have qualitative significance as well. Perhaps these are what bear on the relationship between our world and ourselves.

Archetypes speak in the language of our minds. The most efficient language has proven to be mathematical in nature, in fact numbers themselves. They connect us with others in deep and profoundly meaningful ways.

The ancients used these relations to communicate their deepest truths... along with astronomical (-logical) considerations.

To quote Muses, "Numbers refer to distinguishable things... distinguishability, a prime characteristic of mind, is intimately connected with the nature of number.

"By combinations of 0's and 1's we can write any number in the system. We cannot go below 2 (as in base 2 or binary) and still have distinction.

"...Numbers also uniquely unite conceptions, discovering identifications as well as distinctions.

"The other prime characteristic of mind is unifiablity. Comprehension or understanding employs both... and the highest or deepest understanding attains an insight which does justice to both infinite variety and infinite unitedness.

"The unity [which] makes that unitedness possible is one of spirit and consciousness rather than of form -- one of Love."

Imagine a mathematician, investigating the most rarified conceptions of his science, concluding that love lies at its heart.

We've spoken of changing realities by changing contexts within which contents (including actions) are held.

This is why we entertain such all-inclusive contexts as...

Cosmic Consciousness and a Higher Self

Mars is closer now than its been in many (many) generations. Jupiter recently moved into Virgo and it'll be there for the next year (I'm a Virgo! This will be my year!), and five other planets are about to join it. All this was indicative of a language eons ago.

All while the American space program (NASA) is being scolded. But to me, the whole endeavor (space exploration and travel) is like examining these pixels on your computer screen for the meaning of these words. Context again comes to mind.

You and I are in a minority which is swiftly growing. (You are, after all subscribed to this ezine;-) We seek to revive the archetypal contexts. To bring to our daily lives the language of the heart.

As the thinking, consciously experiencing, languag-ing centers of the universe (or at least this solar system), it falls to us to give voice to the poetry of situations... dance to the harmony of the spheres.

And yes, science as practiced today has given us the desk-top, lap top and palm-top. However it is we who give these their context and meaning as we reach out across the fiber optic network and "share" with each other.

And again, science has confirmed for us that brain hemisphere synchronization has beneficial and far reaching effects. So we no longer need to take it all on faith (although the faithful never needed such confirmation).

It's even made available handy devices to deliver us from dissonant and chaotic frequencies. But we've always had chanting, incantations and other charms.

Who knows the extent of our capacity to know?

No one knows and you can't find out.

In the late fifties, astronomy had reached a point where it could detect, via state of the art (of that day) telescopy, the details of the star Sirius. But the Dogon tribe of Africa had known of these details for untold generations... including an ability to chart (although rudimentarily) the path of the "dark companion" of the star (which came to be called Sirius B) although they had no telescopes. Modern science had yet to explain the "mysterious" behavior of the "observable" star.

What all this boils down to is...

Recognize the language you've been sharing with the "energy" that surrounds you... the "urge" that composes your surroundings.

Perhaps consider fasting or some other "deprivation" for the purpose of re-establishing an awareness of your energy.

Perhaps this is the principle behind lent... give up something to get re-acquainted with something more precious.

We've been charmed and enchanted by circumstances... not really to our detriment (the detrimental part is a result of our reactions and mis-interpretations), but definitely not for "our own good".

Get in touch with what's being communicated through your circumstances. You'll recognize it... it "speaks" a language you share.

Your circumstance is a response to Your communication.

As Muses says, "words are needed at the beginning, in order to explain the meaning of the symbols which then can enable thought to rocket-flight in its own space.

And again, "Communication is of course no substitute for experiential knowledge, and never was meant to be; but it is the essential means of preparing, focusing or initiating a learner into becoming prepared to generate that experiential, first-hand knowledge within himself."

But first we must stop stuttering.
