Earlier this week I was "cursing" my computer woes as I had contracted that "worm". I performed a couple of days of "desk top surgery" and underwent a "worm-ectomy".

The next thing you know, all the power in several states of the North Eastern U.S. was simply gone.

Put my problems into perspective... Big Time.

(Did the two have anything to do with each other? Never mind... just my conspiratorial streak surfacing again.)

Feature Article: On Higher Home Business Opportunity

Always on the prowl for methods to positively alter states and transform reality, I've known for some time that a home business opportunity is a long standing pathway to this end.

The journey from employee, barely "making ends meet", with little time for higher self improvement pursuits, to entrepreneur with plenty of time and money to indulge our evolutionary and transformative potentials can now be accelerated.

And what's more, the journey itself, at least on the "fast track" requires mind-set alterations which we as self improvers and personal developers find right up our alley.

We're used to this!

Failing to associate these skills and gifts with money, wealth building and abundance could have several contributing factors... including misgivings about the "pursuit" of wealth.

Well, guess what? You won't have to pursue money. Minor mental adjustments and Spiritual acceptance seem to send money on a hunt for YOU.

We're All "Works In Progress

This is the nature of home based business and home business opportunities as presented here. A true exploration and expression of Self... daring to display, not only your findings but the very pursuit itself for all to see (perhaps even in the top 3% of the web;-), brings you all the money you'll need.

I believe that our destiny is defined and refined by our quests. POWER, mixed with a thirst for unbridled SELF EXPRESSION moves us all.

Mankind is searching for power, ability and strength. Even in our sleep we dream of a higher competence.

Yet most of us, when considered honestly, are ashamed.

We don't consciously decide to be small, to be drone followers who labor for an income that isn't even enough to take the occasional vacation.

Still, we're bullied into fitting in, being liked by all, and following "tradition"... running with the herd.

Over time, dreams are forgotten. We're stripped of our true imagination and our authenticity.

Self improvement isn't parroting an affirmation which simply eases our conscience while we accept the crap dished out by co-workers who work just hard enough to keep from being fired or companies that only pay enough so you won't quit (or feel you can't)

Home based businesses today offer extra-ordinary opportunities for personal development and growth.

I've mentioned in this publication the self improvement potentials of tools like Site Build It and the "instant asset" of an SBI supported web presence. But network marketing goes a long way in this direction too.

You develop people skills, patience, enhanced powers of expression and other required characteristics for the transition from mere employee to "free agent".

In fact, a rehabilitation of the whole person mentally, emotionally, physically and Spiritually is both required and made possible by such pursuits.

In fact, un-learning what has been drilled into us since grade school (and earlier) is one of the most appealing and necessary aspects of profitable home business opportunities.

New attitudes toward , job "security", retirement, assets, liabilities, debt and (so-called) "failure" are just some of the areas where "the rich" posses different attitudes than the mass of humanity.

Networking "Our Way"

So often we of higher self improvement aspiration are forced to "go it alone". We are often reluctant to announce belief in our potentials, so often surrounded by those who, through limiting their own potential would mock and ridicule us. Thus we'd prefer to go it on our own.

Often with all our insight and meditative ways, its embarrassing to find ourselves "broke".

It can be disheartening and that is where a network of like minded individuals with similar aspirations (and mind-set) is so helpful.

The days of the robber barons and rugged individualists are behind us.

Dangers of Network Marketing

One danger for us of moving into an online business is getting "caught up" in the whole "web thing". The world becomes your audience and the profit potential so great that one might be seduced by it all... "lulled to sleep", so to speak, when "Awakening" is our "way".

It can be overwhelming, but our network helps us maintain our bearings.

We remind each other of our true talents and skills... what we're really here to display.

And thank Goodness for the Site Build It package. The whole webmaster thing can be daunting in itself. And although SBI is now compatible with any HTML editor, I personally don't aspire to "java script" wizardry.

With SBI the emphasis is on the authentic YOU... it's discovery, development and expression. The "tech-ie" stuff stays behind the scenes.

Then there is the "downline" who, in many ways becomes our "following". Be mindful of your influence.

We must share our power. That is how we prosper... by seeing to the prosperity of those who come behind us. But some are only "in it" for the money. A lot of these same people will realize the prosperity you offer... to the benefit of themselves and their families.

(It is a "higher" way. Just like the SBI contest ... you enter by considering other people you know who might benefit from this "instant" asset.)

However, it is usually those who are in it only for the money that refuse to make the "mental shifts" necessary to break free of the "hours for dollars" and "where is my paycheck" (W.I.M.P.!), employee mindset. These often quit in frustration.

You'll find that some people aren't interested in transformative lifestyles.

Imagine!

Still we must honor the boundaries of those we "recruit", respect their current sensibilities and continue "to know" within ourselves while still "being there" for those who have yet to seek higher pursuits.

Wealth is a by-product of a sincere pursuit of higher self expression.

Today, the standard bearer of online network marketing companies is The Six Figure Income marketing group (SFI).

How Much is Enough?

Considering the fact that our supply is infinite, then enough is probably the amount that allows you to live as you would wish to live whether you are working or not.

You then choose when to play and when to work as you feel like, not because you need money. Hence, conditionality and need move away from you and let you explore aspects of life other than money... like Higher Self Improvement Pursuits.

"The Secret of How to Change Your Life"

I often receive letters or e-mails from people who are unhappy and desperately want to change something in their life. Sometimes they want to end a chronic and negative emotional state that has taken over, such as anxiety, depression, fear, or anger. Sometimes they are experiencing one drama or crisis after another, and cannot seem stop this cycle. Sometimes it is a substance abuse problem, or a problem of being in and staying in an abusive situation. Sometimes it is a lack of money or personal success, or an inability to create what they want in the world.

Whatever it is, these people write asking for my suggestions. I write back and tell them what I think. In response to my suggestions, I often hear back from them something like this: "I tried that. It isn't me." Or, "I read that book, and there wasn't anything in it that resonated with me." Or, they say: "I can't, because ...." Sometimes they say, "It's just my nature to be (fill in the blank)." Or, "That goes against my values, beliefs (or whatever)."

At that point, we get down to brass tacks, because now I really begin to understand what the problem is. It's that they think they're going to stay the way they are, continue to think the way they think, continue to act the way they act, and yet somehow THEIR PROBLEM IS GOING TO CHANGE OR GO AWAY!

So let's get really clear about one fundamental truth about life and about change: if you continue to think the way you are thinking now, and continue to act the way you are acting now, you will continue to get the same results you are getting now. There are no exceptions to this.

The life you are leading - the amount of success you enjoy, the amount of money you make, the kind and quality of your personal relationships, the amount of pain or pleasure in your life, the amount of drama and crisis, or stability and inner peace, in your life, the amount of emotional pain or emotional balance you experience - are all the direct result of how you think and how you act.

They are NOT the result of your environment, other people, luck, the alignment of the planets, or the telepathic mind control techniques of evil aliens.

This means that if you want to change your circumstances and your results in life, you must change how you think and how you act. If you are determined to continue thinking and acting in the same way, resign yourself to getting the same results, because (trust me) that is what will happen.

So how do you know what changes to make in how you think and act? Find out how other people who are getting the results you want are thinking and acting, and copy what they are doing. If you think and act in the same way as people who are getting the kinds of results you want, you will get those results too. This ALWAYS works.

The problem comes from your resistance to doing it. I get many letters from people who complain of lack of material resources, for instance, but when I suggest thinking and acting like those who are making a lot of money, they tell me they can't. Making money isn't spiritual, they say, or it exploits people, or they don't have the energy, or they aren't smart enough, or whatever. If that's what you think, you're right, you will never become prosperous, because prosperous people do not have those beliefs. To be prosperous, you must find out what prosperous people believe and adopt those beliefs. You must find out what their values are, and adopt them. You must find out what their internal strategies for making decisions are, and adopt them. And so on.

Unless you accidentally trip over buried treasure or win the lottery (I know some of you actually think you will), there is NO OTHER WAY to become prosperous than to adopt the beliefs, values, attitudes and mental strategies of prosperous people - and then take action in the same way prosperous people take action.

The same can be said for creating inner peace, creating loving relationships, or any other desirable outcome. Find out how those who are already doing it have constructed their inner map of reality, and adopt the same inner map for yourself. Then, take the same actions. If you do this, you will succeed.

If you insist on keeping your beliefs, values, strategies, and the other aspects of your map of reality, and just cannot get yourself to adopt those of the people who are creating what you want to create, then be prepared to continue getting the same results you've been getting, because that's what is going to happen. Your life results follow directly from how you think and act, and there is no getting around this.

How to do you find out what the people you want to model believe, value, and so on? How do you learn their strategies and actions? You can find this information from books, or from people in person. You can find it on audio cassettes. If you look for it, it is all around you. In these articles, I'm giving you huge clues in how to do this. I'm particularly trying to paint a very clear picture of all the aspects of how people do the "think" part of thinking and acting, but I also throw in some of the "action" part from time to time as well.

The only thing that is keeping most people from getting what they want in life is that they haven't yet figured out that:

1) Whatever results you get in life flow from how you think and act, and

2) To change your results you MUST change how you do these two things.

If you like your current results, great. If not, you now know what to do.

For every ONE who buys, 10 come very, very close. So close.

Once they make the mistake to opt for "old-fashioned" Web hosting, they're cooked. They spend thousands of dollars for a designer to put up a site.

Three months later, that small business person calls the designer and asks...

"Where's the traffic?"

Ouch. Too late.

So make sure your audience asks the questions/worries/ objections/misconceptions that folks do have right at the moment when they are on the site... right WHEN they need it.

Either tell them to USE the "call, chat or e-mail us" feature on the site. Tell them that the advisors are all successful SBI! users who can answer questions and worries. And, if SBI! is NOT right for them, we'll tell them that, too.
